Here in Canada we are keenly watching the elections south of the border...and even in Trinidad and Tobago, people are closely following.
Laventille-born United States Ambasssador John L Estrada said he was surprised at the “keen awareness” which the countdown to the US presidential election had generated in Trinidad and Tobago. Estrada also said the incoming president will have to unify the United States and work aggressively on combating terrorism and global warming.
