I have been living away from T&T for so long, that I had forgotten some of these expressions, so I was delighted to run across them again. Brought back some great memories, especially the first one which I often heard as a child from my mom..and of course she was always right.

 Trinidad is home to the largest Hanuman Murti statue outside of India? The red and pink statue of the Hindu deity, standing at 85 feet tall, represents wisdom, righteous and strength. It is located at the Hindu Temple in Waterloo.

The New Mexico State University — the only international, non-profit scientific organization devoted to education and research related to Capsicum or chili peppers — tested the pepper, which ranks as high as 2,009,231 SHU on the Scoville scale! Sure gives the song Hot! Hot! Hot! new meaning for us!
