Here in Canada we are keenly watching the elections south of the border...and even in Trinidad and Tobago, people are closely following.
Laventille-born United States Ambasssador John L Estrada said he was surprised at the “keen awareness” which the countdown to the US presidential election had generated in Trinidad and Tobago. Estrada also said the incoming president will have to unify the United States and work aggressively on combating terrorism and global warming. He made these comments yesterday at the United States/Canada College Fair at Hyatt Regency hotel, Wrightson Road, Port of Spain. If there will be a children's Christmas party this year. They had so much fun at the last one they attended. But, we will have to wait and see..... Popular local actress Shirley "Beulah" King passed away this morning. Sadly her husband passed away last week. Here is a reminder of what she used to do and how she made us laugh.
