TTAO EXECUTIVE 2016 - 2017

Adrian Benjamin was elected to the position of President of the TTAO at its Annual General Meeting held on October 29th, 2016 at the Trinidad and Tobago High Commission office located at 200 First Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario. Other members of the newly appointed TTAO Executive Team for the period 2016 – 2017 are:
Vice President: Earlvin Dyer Secretary: Judy Madhosingh Assistant Secretary: Nadine Lambie Treasurer: Anne-Marie Bostic Floor members: Carmen Dyer Yasmin Asgarali Brenda Agard-Alleyne. Adrian worked in the Energy Sector in Trinidad and Tobago for just about twenty years. He then moved to the Occupational Safety and Health Agency where he served as their Communications and Outreach Manager for two years before coming to Canada. He is a newcomer to Canada arriving in Ottawa with his family in 2014. Adrian is a graduate of Andrews University, Michigan, U.S.A. with a Masters of Business Administration, a B.Sc in Business Education with a minor in Communications. He is a very active member of our Community, serving on the Boards of the Ottawa Safety Council and Crime Prevention Ottawa. A very dynamic and enthusiastic individual, Adrian has a passion for singing and is a recent member of the Ottawa Police Choir. The TTAO has been in existence since 1983. The mission of the TTAO is to promote and maintain the integrity of our cultural heritage and assist with the continuing development of nationals of Trinidad and Tobago. Congratulations is extended to the new members of the TTAO Executive Team. |
